ABOUT US

The APTA (Andes Pacific Technology Access) Hub is a platform created with Corfo funding as part of the “Technology Transfer Hub” project, in order to generate technological businesses in Chile and the world based on the results of research and development (R&D) carried out at universities and research centers nationally, contributing in this way to increased productivity and diversification of the Chilean economy.

The APTA ecosystem is also made up of a network of co-executors, which enhances its capacity for technology transfer, as well as trade associations, which support the detection of technological challenges in different productive sectors to resolve the needs of industry.

With this undeniable potential, APTA has taken on the task of promoting national development through the detection, strengthening and international promotion of technologies originating from major universities in this country, with input from their Offices for Transfer and Licensing (OTLs).
